We learn that today is 11.11-Loy Krathong River Festival, a ritual Thais do on the first full moon of November to pay respects to the Goddess of the water. The smell of burnt incense is everywhere, a little break from the car smog. The atmosphere, yet slightly chaotic, is peaceful.
